Another slow month for birding. Not that there are not any, but with dusk almost immediately following dawn, there is not much light to shoot in. And we have had couple of cold spells, with temparatures down to -16 C. And than a man cold put an to this month.
We will see if January is better, or if the next post will be for the rest of Winter.
Goldcrest (Kungsfågel, Regulus regulus)
The Goldcrest, the smallest bird in Sweden, made it through the coldest days this December. After looking for it (and hearing it) for a couple of years, at last i spotted it three times in a week.
