A cold and dark period with lots of snow and ice. It has not encouraged bird photography in general. Also, my computer died after a period of riduclously bad performance, making it enervating to edit photos. But now, with a new modern computer equipped to handle this, I’m good to go again.

November, 2022
A grayer and cooler month and been busy with other things than birding. But the the Bohemian waxwings came by on their yearly trip south. This year we lack rowan-berries, so apples had to do.
November, 2021
Another quiet month with more of the same to come. Now at the end of November temperatues are below the freezing point but the snow has yet to arrive.
March, 2020
Another almost snow free winter with mild temperatures. Now, in March, I have started visiting the bird areas that are a bit more remote (but still in the wider Stockholm area). The early migrants are starting to appear.
