A busy month concludes with grand kid duties at lake Yxningen and trips around that area as well as some birding around home.

2023-05-25–28 Österlen deluxe
A luxury four day trip to beautiful Österlen with single room accomodation and breakfast + dinner included. Led by Henrik W, we observed around 135 bird species, but I was of course not able to photograph them all. And as usual, some of the ones I did get, are not identifyable by the image – you’ll have to trust us.
April, 2023
A typical April this year, almost Summer some days, and snow on others.
March, 2023
Winter returned with a vengance and 20 days of precipitation (snow or rain). Icy paths in the woods and after two falls, I did not bring the camera around that much. We had a single sunny Spring day with +12C as can be seen in the pictures below from Svartsjö.

Another uninspered month. Have to get up early in the morning and join the bird watchers more often.

July has been cooler than last year and we spent a couple of weeks at the island of Gotland and visited some new places.

Not the most active period of the year for me after the trip to Österlen. Only a few outings with the camera.
April-May 2022, Alvesta & Österlen
Another trip down to fair Österlen via Alvesta. Spring is still late, but a number of late migrants started to arrive on the last days.
March, 2022
The sunniest March ever with minimal rain/snow and with Spring approaching. An increasing number of larger migratory birds, but the smaller ones have mostly avoided my camera this far.
